Anyone else need to get a jumpstart on Fall? Got a yummy chili recipe?
Join us on Friday night for food, fellowship, fun and Fall!
Bring a (crock)pot of your best chili or a fixing to go with it to share.
I'll have s'mores and bowls/plates/napkins/cups/utensils and some basic beverages.
The pool is still open. The trampoline still bouncing. The bon fire will be lit and the grill will be available. Might even show a movie on the projector if there's enough interest.
Bonus: there's still plenty of yardage to pitch a tent if you feel so inclined to stay the night soaking up these cool nights (while still having access to modern conveniences - toilets) - please feel free to come earlier if setting up a tent.
This is a whole-family event! BYOB.
Message Ceri for address, if needed.

Greek food, shopping, and dancing- Oh My OPA!
It was so wonderful to see many of you at the MOPS meeting Thursday (and we missed those of you who weren't there), and even my stoic husband was quite impressed when I showed off our craft product! What a fantastic, eclectic group we have with such a positive energy and open arms to share what is really going on...and open arms to any new mamas who want to join us!
Anywho- let's get to something else fun and delicious...
36th ANNUAL GREEK FEST! OPA!
If you haven't been before, it is definitely worth a visit. And yes, the festival is still moving on as usual despite the church's fire earlier this year. (Maybe the festival profits will help complete the repairs?)
My clan and I will be there at some point, and I know that some of you other MOPS will be there Friday. The festival is happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if you want to attend. OPA!
Here is the link with all the info: https://greekfesttn.wordpress.com/
(This is obviously not a MOPS sponsored event, but it is just fun and I wanted to pass on the info in case anyone is interested. There is also a wee little football game happening Saturday at 3:30pm in case you would rather watch that.)
Also, mark your calendar for our next MOPS meetings: Thursday, October 8th at 9:30am. We will have a professional organizer coming to be our speaker. Yes, please!

Get Your Craft On!
Happy Fall, Y'all!
Come celebrate the official beginning of Fall and join us for MOPS on Thursday! Julie will be leading us in some sort of pinterersty craft which is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We'll also get to know each other over coffee and food.
Hope to see you Thursday!
details:
WHO: YOU...and your kiddos...and always feel free to bring friends and food to share
WHAT: MOPS
WHERE: Erin Presbyterian Church, 200 Lockett Rd, right around the corner from Bearden Public Lib
WHEN: 9:30am
HOW: Come, drop kids in childcare (if you wish), eat, relax, laugh, craft
WHY: Because the crafts are good, the coffee is hot, and we all need a deep breath and time away from the house chores that never are done anyway.
** Just a reminder, if you are like me and still need to pay your dues for the semester ($30/$35 if using childcare), Thursday would be a great time to do so.
